Top shelf, English-language bookstore. Excellently curated selection of books. On two separate visits, I found exactly what I was looking for.
Belle librairie de livres anglais avec café et crèmerie...son personnel aimable et capable de vous servir avec courtoisie en français même si vous commandez un ouvrage courageux (tel I'll burn that bridge when I get there de Norman Finkelstein) allant à l'encontre des déconstructions anarchistes ou wokillusionnaires de la nouvelle audacieuse génération! De beaux gaminets illustrant Le Petit Prince à 39 dollars pièce...des prix confirmant que McGill juste en face est une clientèle aussi en fric que le Harvard de Boston!
This library has a very wide variety of books. I really love that I could find tons of books that I've never seen before. Definitely the perfect library to discover new books it any genres. I wished it could be bigger!
I enjoy going from time to time to this very rare library dedicated to English literature in Montreal. Probably it survives due to its privileged location, across the road from McGill University, one of the most prestigious universities in Canada (49th World University Rankings 2024; 101–200th-Impact Rankings 2022;
50th World Reputation Rankings 2022).
Therefore, it sells books, papers etc. required by the school curriculum, which should be a good business, I would say...
Ya... It's pity... The English doesn't go well with the Quebec authorities here... It's a complicate hate and love history of three peoples - plus the massive immigration - who were forced to live together on this land.

책도 적당히 많아서 사고싶은 책도 조금 보이고, 내부도 뭔가 정감 있고,
심지어 계산하면서 보니 왜인지 모르겟지만
할인도 되었음.
